Congratulation to the Senior Girls on winning the silver medal in Gander this past weekend. The girls went undefeated in the round robin before losing 4-1 to Gander in the championship game.
Congratulations to the Midget 1 team on winning gold at their home tournament. The Midget Mariners defeated Bay Arena Rovers is a shoot out to win the championship.
Bantam 1 team travelled to Placentia for a tournament this past weekend, where they went undefeated in the tournament and defeated Whitbourne in the championship game 8-2.
MMHA CLOTHING ORDER
Orders will take place in the Warm Room at Marystown Arena
- December 2, 2013 Monday evening from 6-9pm
- December 3, 2013 Tuesday evening from 6-8pm
Order must be placed by Wednesday morning to GUARANTEE the order for Christmas.
If Parents cannot make the arranged time(s), they can email and try to make arrangements. The only issue with emailing orders is that the money has to be paid up front.
But we can accommodate where able, and if not they can order after Christmas!
The first name bar order will be available for pick up, Thursday, 6:30-8:00 at the arena.
The Under 12 Marytown Mariners Scotiabank team travelled to Clarenville this past weekend to play in their Invitiational U12 Girls Hockey Tourament.
The Mariners went undefeated during the round robin play, moved on to crossovers, then advancing to championship game, where they defeated Gander 5-0 to bring home a Gold Medal.
Wanda Barron will be taking orders for name bars if anyone is interested. They will cost between $ 20- $25 for a set of two. ( green/ white ). Please email her the exact spelling of the name and how many sets you wish to order. I will be taking orders up to Wednesday Nov. 27th and payment is due when you receive them.
Hockey NL requires that a parent must complete the Respect in Sport Parent Program. This
is completed online and must be completed before your player may register for minor hockey.
The Respect in Sport Parent Program is presented as an online curriculum and includes audio/visual presentations.
All that is required to complete the Respect in Sport curriculum is a computer, an Internet connection, and speakers or a headset. Optional equipment includes a printer to print out your certificate of completion.
